The new 2010-2011 Outdoor Annual has finally come out and I’m gearing up at Estrella Ranch. Dove season is Sept. 1-Oct. 24 & Dec. 25-Jan. 9, and I have already seen a ton of dove in the 6,000 acres of pastureland that is loaded with Dove Weed. I’m still needing a few dove leasers for the season so hurry up and get on it. Early Teal season is Sept. 11-26, and the duck lease spots are just about filled up. Archery season for deer is Oct. 2- Nov. 5, and gun season is Nov. 6-Jan. 2 (Youth days for 16 and under are Oct. 30-31 and Jan. 3-16). And since we will have LAMPS permits for does, you can take as many as your heart desires as long as I don’t run out of permits. You can also shoot 2 bucks in this county (1 spike and 1 buck that meets antler restriction requirements). Book your deer hunt now before I fill up. And remember we have tons of hogs to shoot.
