Congratulations to Marty and his 12 yr. old son Matt on their first excursion with BRODAX. Matt harvested 2 does back to back and an opossum, while Marty got his first Bobcat ever the first evening of the hunt when we set a varmint call. The last morning of the hunt he harvested an even bigger cat than the first that stepped out in the food plot he was hunting. The one thing Marty has wanted to harvest all his life, he was able to get 2 of on this weekend hunt. Also, congrats to the Soza group on takin a couple of hogs last weekend, and David S. of the United States Air Force for taking his first ever hog. Good job guys.

Congratulations to these hunters:
Tommy Davis and his nephew Marcus had an awesome day hunt. 9 yr. old Marcus shot his first hog.
Also, Victor snipered 2 does from Sendero Los Muertos at about 350 yds., later that evening there’s was collective effort from the Genecov group to take out this 280 lb. sow while spotlighting. You can see that she took up the entire back end of the mule.

Congratulations to these hunters: Joey Estrella took out a nice eatin size hog. 9 year old Hunter Hornaday killed his first animal using a .243, he shot the 90 pound porker at about 90 yds. and dropped it with a perfect shot. Robert Powell took out a spike with a head shot (on purpose) at about 75 yds. All were taken this past weekend, and the proud father’s were there to experience it all with their sons.
Here are a few things hunters forget to bring that are really useful.
1. Rubber Boots
2. Head Lamps
3. Ice Chests
4. Rain Gear

Congratulations to these hunters. Keelan Traywick harvested a nice 10 pt. this past weekend after watching several does and a big group of hogs come by the food plot. He was definitely anxious, but waited to harvest something that met his specifications. Also, Tommy Davis pounded some hogs this past weekend. Tommy had never shot a hog before and took out his first 2 back to back as we road up on a big group in the pasture while spotlighting on our way back to camp to eat dinner. Nice shootin on the run no less. He took his 3rd one out at The Pipe feeder. Jeff McNutt came back home to have a little r&r with his family (Bill and Judge Kay Mcnutt from Mt. Pleasant). While he and his wife road on my 4wheeler loaded in the back of my truck spotlighting the pastures, once again, he took out this beast on the run. Good job and I look forward to seeing Tommy again this weekend to harvest a big buck.
